Job summary

Henley Chase in Bristol is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee drylining operations, ensuring projects are delivered on programme, to high standards and with safe practices.

The ideal candidate will manage drylining packages, coordinate subcontractors and maintain quality across construction projects. This hands‑on role requires strong organisational and communication skills and a vigilant approach to safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within the drylining sector.
• Strong knowledge of drylining systems, installation methods and site sequencing.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing site teams.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications preferred.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage programmes and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of site operations.
• Oversee drylining works, ensuring delivery in line with project specifications and programmes.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour and material deliveries.
• Monitor progress against project deadlines and report on any delays.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet required standards.
• Liaise with the project management team, main contractors and other trades.
• Manage site documentation, RAMS and progress reports.
• Identify and resolve site issues efficiently.
• Ensure works are completed within programme and to the required quality.
