Job summary

Aldem Talent Ltd. is seeking an experienced Draughtsperson to join the technical team, delivering accurate 2D and 3D drawings for bespoke scenic projects. The role collaborates with design, project and workshop teams to ensure efficient manufacturing and high-quality delivery.

You will contribute from concept through to manufacture, considering construction methods, materials and programme requirements to provide robust technical solutions across multiple live projects.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting/design for scenic construction, bespoke manufacturing, joinery or workshop environments.
• Strong understanding of joinery and metalwork construction methods.
• Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to manage several projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed construction, workshop and CNC drawings.
• Manage drawing packages from concept through manufacture.
• Work across multiple projects while maintaining quality and deadlines.
• Coordinate with workshop and production teams on fabrication queries and drawings.
• Develop construction methods and material specifications.
• Suggest alternative materials and build methods where appropriate.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.
• Communicate with internal teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Attend site surveys and client meetings as required.
