Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Drainage Engineer to contribute to national SWM and SUDS projects in the UK. You will produce drainage design packages and support multi-disciplinary schemes, aligning with CDM and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Chartered status with ICE or CIWEM.
• Experience in drainage design including SUDS.
• Competence in AutoCAD and hydraulic modelling.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and to budget.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Curiosity for innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Producing drainage infrastructure design packages.
• Assisting drainage engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Complying with CDM Regulations and safety requirements.
• Managing projects to deliver on time and budget.
• Delivering technical presentations to showcase SUDS expertise.
• Preparing financial and technical proposals.
• Supervising and developing junior team members.
• Co-ordination with other disciplines and site team.
