Qualifications

  • Experience developing and assessing drainage designs using industry-standard software.
  • Efficient use of AutoCAD and Civil3D required.
  • A full UK driving licence necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Key member of the Water and Environment North team working on drainage projects.
  • Deliver large-scale infrastructure projects in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Build external stakeholder relationships and influence positive outcomes.

  • Relevant Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Geography, or equivalent
  • Chartered Member or working towards chartered membership of a professional institution such as CIWEM, ICE, APM, etc.
  • Technical experience in UK drainage standards including SuDS
  • Experience developing and assessing drainage designs using industry-standard drainage modelling software (MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow) and technically competent in fundamental hydraulic design principles
  • Efficient use of AutoCAD and Civil3D
  • A successful track record in project and construction management, working with design teams to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Experience working in diverse multi-disciplinary teams to produce deliverables to a high standard
  • Experience working in client-facing environments with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes
  • Developing and building mutually beneficial external stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Chartered Membership of a relevant professional organisation
