Job description

Do you live in Merseyside? Would you like to work in Central Liverpool?

If you have experience completing flood and drainage design using Microdrainage or flow and drainage strategies and you would like to work on varied projects spanning residential, education, healthcare, and industrial sectors, then this is the role for you!

This exciting opportunity will focus on flood risk, drainage, and civil engineering design for low and high-rise residential blocks and housing estates, hospitals, and schools. You will join an established team as a Senior Drainage Engineer and complete flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and detailed designs using Microdrainage for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities, and Housing Developers.

Applicants will also be supported to complete the following:

1. Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3.
2. Surface Water Management Plans.
3. Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies.
4. Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using Causeway Flow and Microdrainage for S104 and S106.
5. Access road design for S38 and S278.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments for planning applications, road design, drainage strategies, and drainage design using Microdrainage or Causeway Flow.

It is beneficial for candidates to live near Liverpool as you will be required in the office for 3 days a week.
