Job description

Senior Drainage Engineer for an established company offering a great salary and benefits.

The Senior Drainage Engineer will work on commercial sites, such as care homes, commercial buildings, restaurants, and pub chains, covering parts of Surrey, Buckinghamshire, and Hampshire.

Job Specification:

1. Perform unblocking using HPWJ.
2. Drain repairs.
3. Drain mapping and locating.

Requirements for a Senior Drainage Engineer:

• Strong experience as a Drainage Engineer, ideally in the Commercial industry, with experience in Retail, Hotels, Care Homes, and social housing.
• Accreditation by WJA (Water Jetting Association) or training in lining or surveying systems is a bonus but not essential.

Key skills include:

• Experience in unblocking using rodding/HPWJ.
• Experience in drainage surveys; iTouch camera system experience is highly desirable but training can be provided.
• Ability to install patch liners.
• Experience with lining is desirable but training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Installation of new foul drainage systems.
• Soakaway installation and maintenance.
• Minor excavation work, including gulley replacement.
• Descaling, rooting, or concrete cutting using Picote millers or similar equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Leadership or similar experience.

• Salary up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and skillset.
