Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a Drainage Engineer to join their team. This role offers a chance to work Monday to Friday with opportunities for additional hours on weekends. Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in drainage engineering.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Certifications in HPJW, Confined Space, NRSW, and CRB Disclosure are ideal.

Job description

Overview

: First Military Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Drainage Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.

The standard working hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 7:30 – 16:00. There is also the opportunity to work between 17:00 – 12:00 for £18 per hour, Saturday work at £18 per hour, and Sunday work paid at £24 per hour.

This role would suit ex-military candidates, and applications from former service personnel are encouraged.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of customer drains.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.
  • Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures.
  • Help maintain the standard of company service vehicle and equipment.
  • Accurately record work details via internal and client systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and Head Office colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ideally, you will have 2-3 years of experience in a drainage engineering role.
  • Have a positive can-do attitude.
  • Be flexible in your working hours (including out-of-hours).
  • Ideally, have relevant experience including knowledge of lining, CCTV surveys, and groundworks.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Hold an HPJW Cert.
  • Ideally, have a Confined Space Cert.
  • Ideally, have NRSW Cert.
  • Ideally, have CRB Disclosure Cert.
