Job Title: Senior Drainage Design Engineer

My client, a specialist UK-based Environmental Consultancy, is seeking a Senior Drainage Design Engineer to join their new Drainage Design Team in London.

Requirements

• Strong academic background in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with UK-based Consultancies working on water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in completing calculations and detailed designs for Pumping Stations, CSO, shafts and tanks, pressure pipes, SuDS, water retaining structures, and water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Experience using Revit, Civils 3D, and Infodrainage for detailed design.

Responsibilities

• Join an experienced team specializing in wastewater non-infrastructure design for Water Companies and Consultancies.
• Design of Water and Waste Water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure Projects.
• Detailed Civil Engineering Design including Pumping Stations, Water and Waste Water Treatment Works, and Water Retaining Structures.
• Design of pipelines, pressure pipes, and CSOs using Civils 3D and Infodrainage.
• Shaft and tank design, calculations, and reports.
• Mentoring junior team members.
• Retrofitting SUDS and drainage solutions for remote surface water management.
• Frequent liaison with Local Authorities, Consultancies, and Water Companies.
