Public Services Delivery Scotland is seeking a Senior Donor Carer for the Dundee & East Blood Donor Centre, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. You will deliver direct donor care during the donation process, uphold high clinical standards and ensure donor safety.

The post is 25 hours per week, permanent, NHS Band 4 (£31,537 - £34,303) with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. PVG check and overseas criminal record checks where applicable are required.

Formación

• Friendly, patient-focused individual with good interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel within the region as required.
• Flexible to work Mon-Sun and late evenings.
• PVG Scheme check is required; overseas criminal record checks may be required for those with overseas stay in last 5 years.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to donors throughout the donation process.
• Perform and monitor venepunctures to obtain donations and samples.
• Transport staff and equipment to sessions as needed.
• Input data accurately to safeguard donor and patient safety.
