Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is recruiting three Donor Carer Venepuncturists to join our community teams. You will provide high standards of donor care, assist with the blood donation process and help set up equipment for sessions.

You should be friendly, enjoy meeting people and be willing to work as part of a team. PVG check is required, and eligibility to work in the UK must be held.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health care or other customer focused environments is essential.
• Standard keyboard skills are essential.
• Good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for donors through the blood donation process.
• Assist with loading/unloading and assembling community session equipment.
• Support donors and work as part of the team during sessions.
