Job summary

Public Services Delivery Scotland is seeking a dynamic nurse to support whole blood and blood component sessions at Ninewells, with extensive travel across the region. You will perform venepuncture and medical selection duties while ensuring donors feel welcome and valued.

The role requires current NMC registration, PVG scheme clearance, and flexibility to work Monday–Sunday with variable hours. PSD Scotland supports hybrid and office-based arrangements where possible.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Ability to undertake venepuncture and medical selection duties.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the management and smooth running of whole blood and blood component sessions.
• Ensure donors feel welcome, comfortable and valued during sessions.
