Job summary
ASCEND CARE GROUP LTD T/A Ascend Recruitment and Placements is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a domiciliary care service in Leeds. You will oversee the safe, high-quality delivery of care and support the development of a strong, dedicated team.
Key responsibilities include maintaining CQC compliance, safeguarding, incident management, and continuous service improvement. You will recruit and develop staff, manage care plans and relationships with service users and families.
Qualifications
- Experience in health or social care management.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
- Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for day-to-day management of the service.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
- Lead safeguarding, incident management and complaints procedures.
- Monitor care plans, risk assessments and quality of care.
- Conduct audits and implement continuous improvement plans.
- Recruit, supervise and develop care staff.
- Maintain strong relationships with service users, families and professionals.
- Prepare the service for CQC inspections and regulatory reviews.
- Monitor staffing, rotas and operational performance.
