Job description

We are currently working with a top-tier, Legal 500 ranked firm in Reading that is looking for a Senior Dispute Resolution Solicitor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Dispute Resolution law professional to join an expanding and supportive team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Work closely with the team on complex legal disputes.
  2. Manage and handle your own cases from start to finish.
  3. Deal with a wide range of legal issues, such as construction problems, business contract disputes, professional negligence, fraud, insolvency, intellectual property, and international cases.
  4. Work with clients from different industries, including cars, finance, leisure, fishing, transport, and consumer goods.
  5. Give clear, practical legal advice that fits each client's needs.
  6. Be a helpful and flexible team member, ready to take on interesting and varied work.

The successful candidate:

  1. Hardworking, resourceful, and able to tackle new challenges quickly.
  2. Able to provide practical, client-focused legal advice.
  3. Comfortable supervising and supporting junior team members.
  4. Confident working with senior colleagues in a team environment.
  5. A client base or proven ability to attract new clients.
