Job summary
The Cohens Group is seeking a Dispensing Technician for a 16-hour part-time role at our Heysham Primary Care Centre branch in Middleton, LA3 2LE. You will receive, assemble and dispense prescriptions, providing knowledgeable, friendly service to customers and supporting pharmacy operations.
You must have NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, able to advise on medications, handle complex inquiries under supervision, and help promote new
Qualifications
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience in dispensing prescriptions and customer-facing healthcare roles.
Responsibilities
- Receive, assemble and dispense prescriptions in a timely manner.
- Advise customers on alternative medicines or care needs where appropriate.
- Handle complex medication enquiries under supervision of a pharmacist.
- Support branch promotions and new services as required.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with a friendly approach.
