Job summary

OakNorth is seeking a Senior Director/Director in Debt Finance to originate, structure and execute financing for specialist lenders and non-bank finance providers, with a focus on securitisations within specialty finance. Lead deals from initial client conversation through credit approval, documentation and completion.

You will combine new business development with detailed credit and structuring work, leveraging your understanding of securitisation and underlying loan portfolios, while

Qualifications

• Proven track record in originating and closing lender finance or structured finance deals.
• Deep understanding of asset-backed lending structures and portfolios.
• Experience analysing loan portfolios, stress-testing cash flows and risk.
• Established network of specialist lenders and advisers.
• Experience writing credit papers and negotiating financing docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring and execution of lender finance transactions, incl. securitisations.
• Build relationships with specialist lenders and advisers to win new business.
• Assess portfolios, structures, risk, and underwriting standards.
• Model cash flows and trigger structures; present proposals for approval.
• Coordinate documentation with Legal and Transaction Management.
• Support deal handovers and ongoing reporting with Portfolio Management.
