Job summary

OakNorth seeks a Senior Director or Director in Debt Finance to originate, structure and execute financing for specialist lenders and non-bank finance providers, with a focus on securitisations within specialty finance. You will lead deals from initial client conversations through credit approval, documentation and completion, blending new business development with rigorous credit work.

Qualifications

• Track record originating, structuring and closing lender finance or structured finance transactions.
• Deep understanding of asset-backed lending structures including portfolios, advance rates and cash waterfalls.
• Experience analysing loan portfolios, stress-testing cash flows and counterparty risk.
• Established network of specialist lenders and advisers and ability to win business.
• Experience writing credit papers and presenting to credit committees.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with specialist lenders and advisers to win new business.
• Lead structuring and execution of lender finance transactions, focusing on securitisations.
• Assess loan portfolios, structure, borrower strength and servicing capabilities.
• Model cash flows and downside scenarios to assess repayment risk.
• Negotiate pricing, advance rates, and covenants.
• Coordinate with Legal and Transaction Management to reflect terms in documentation.
