Our passionate experts combine proactive, always-on service and expertise with best-in-class tools and automation to deliver technology when and how our customers need it.

This leadership role reports to the Corporate VP of Platform and Application Services. The EMEA Professional Services leader manages the Professional Services Business Unit for EMEA, focusing on profitable growth through Sales, Solutioning, and Delivery. The role involves collaborating with the field sales team to expand professional services in EMEA, primarily in Public Cloud consulting, implementation, and system integration for major Hyperscalers. Close cooperation with AWS, GCP, and Azure is essential for developing business plans in Professional Services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. P&L leadership for EMEA Professional Services, overseeing revenue, margin, and utilization.
  2. Develop and execute a strategic business plan including offerings, target markets, monetization, capabilities, and performance metrics.
  3. Drive sales growth in EMEA by partnering with Field Sales and Go-To-Market teams.
  4. Lead solution and advisory sales efforts with existing and new clients.
  5. Participate in presales activities and deal reviews.
  6. Design differentiated solutions to meet customer business objectives.
  7. Ensure successful delivery of large, complex consulting engagements with high customer satisfaction.
  8. Partner with Hyperscalers on strategic initiatives for business growth.
  9. Establish Rackspace as a top consulting and professional services provider for Hyperscalers.
  10. Collaborate with marketing to create market-leading offers and lead their sales and deployment.
  11. Manage and develop a large team of consultants and architects across the region.
  12. Attract, develop, and retain top talent, including Enterprise Architects and Consultants.
  13. Maintain operational excellence through effective utilization, forecasting, and representing the business to senior leaders and clients.
  14. Provide technical thought leadership and maintain in-depth industry knowledge.
Skills:
  • Proven P&L leadership experience in Professional and Consulting Services, ideally in Cloud or large consulting organizations.
  • Deep understanding of cloud offerings (AWS, Azure, GCP) and professional services delivery.
  • Strong track record in customer engagement, deal-winning, and large project delivery.
  • Strategic planning and operational expertise.
  • Leadership in developing and selling technology-based consulting services.
  • Excellent team leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence technical audiences.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; advanced degrees preferred.
  • 15+ years in building and leading technology-focused Professional Services businesses.
  • 12+ years architecting enterprise solutions.
  • 8+ years leading large teams of 200+ people.
Travel:
  • Willingness to travel up to 25-50% as needed.
