Job summary

WeDoData is a specialist recruitment company focusing on non-teaching support in education. This role leads MIS, IT, BI, Admissions and Exams, directing teams and ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.

The Director of MIS is responsible for funding rules interpretation, dashboards, and management reporting, with responsibility for budgets and contracts across the service. Strong leadership and FE data expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experienced senior MIS/Data or IT professional with strong FE data, funding, compliance and reporting knowledge.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage complex teams, systems and projects with clear strategic direction.
• Strong knowledge of ILR, ESFA/OfS funding, Power BI, data quality and audit compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams across MIS, IT, BI, Admissions and Exams.
• Oversee funding contracts, corporate returns, ILRs, HESEs and audit compliance.
• Lead development and management of MIS, student records and reporting systems.
