Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Director, Industry Strategist for the Global Life Sciences Acceleration Hub in London. You will combine deep industry insight with enterprise implementation expertise to act as a trusted SME for the life sciences ecosystem, focusing on commercial pharma.

You will drive Go-To-Market alignment, guide product capability development, and coach partners while ensuring regulatory compliance and business value realization. A strong CRM background and 10+ years in pharma are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of domain experience in life sciences or commercial pharma.
• Proven track record implementing CRM/enterprise software in pharma.
• Ability to map business processes to technical capabilities and identify gaps.
• Strong knowledge of life sciences regulatory requirements and their impact.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the industry point-of-view strategy on market trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive positioning across life sciences.
• Represent the organization as a thought leader through webinars, conferences, analyst briefings, and customer advisory boards.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, CS, and Sales to map customer journeys to product capabilities.
• Map user personas to product features and create reusable templates and frameworks to scale implementations.
• Guide product teams in building usable industry accelerators and delivery artifacts, tracking adoption across programs.
• Identify and elevate product capability gaps based on real‑world requirements.
• Coach partner consultants and internal services teams on industry best practices and implementation methodologies.
• Shape industry-specific value propositions, sales enablement assets, and GTM playbooks with Product Marketing.
• Own executive reporting on velocity, accelerator adoption, and delivery insights across programs.
• Collaborate with value engineering to build ROI narratives and post‑implementation measurement frameworks.
• Inform the long‑term product roadmap with customer and field insights.
