Qualifications
What you'll bring
  • Proven experience within life insurance, reinsurance, consulting or other actuarial advisory.

    • developed a detailed understanding of statistical methods used within the context of demographic assumptions or demographic risks, when and how it is appropriate to use those methods, and the limitations of those methods
  • In all of the above, some exposure to mortality/longevity assumptions/risks would be preferred, but candidates with experience of morbidity assumption-setting will also be considered.
  • Experience of interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial and business development skills.
  • Knowledge of major EMEA life insurance markets.
  • You may also have:
  • advised other stakeholders on the correct application of demographic assumptions, or provided critical review of the appropriateness of certain assumptions for the purpose for which they were being used

  • carried out demographic analyses within the context of assumption-setting for PRT pricing
  • previously worked for a consultancy, engaged with external clients (or stakeholders from outside of your business unit) and had to manage multiple competing demands.
