Job summary

IFS is seeking a Senior Director of Infrastructure to design, build and operate the cloud platform powering our software solutions. You will define infrastructure strategy, lead the move to Infrastructure-as-Code, and partner with security, observability and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable services.

You will drive cost optimization, establish standards, and lead a high-performing team of engineers to enable rapid innovation while maintaining security and governance across production

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering or infrastructure experience with 5+ years focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps or platform engineering.
• Demonstrated leadership delivering infrastructure transformations at scale.
• Strong expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud automation frameworks.
• Deep experience with container platforms, orchestration and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing and operating scalable databases and data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Define organization-wide cloud strategy, platform architecture and infrastructure vision aligned with product strategy and business goals.
• Lead IaC adoption and build self-service infrastructure capabilities for engineering teams.
• Ensure reliability, availability and cost efficiency across cloud platforms; manage capacity and disaster recovery.
• Drive security, compliance, observability and performance engineering partnerships.
• Build and mentor an infrastructure team (6-8+ people) and communicate progress to leadership.
