Job summary

IFS is seeking a Senior VP/Director level engineering leader to head the Technology Platform and Reliability function. You will shape the multi-year strategy for CI/CD, provisioning, databases, and observability, and build a globally distributed leadership team.

You will oversee platform costs, security, and performance, while driving modernisation of the Oracle estate and ensuring the delivery of a robust, scalable cloud-first platform across product teams.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience (Director/VP level) in a complex organisation.
• Lead a platform/infrastructure engineering unit with 40+ engineers.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, IaC, and Oracle database engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own and communicate a multi-year technical strategy for CI/CD, provisioning, database engineering and observability.
• Set architecture and engineering standards across platform services and act as senior technical authority.
• Drive cost, risk, and efficiency through FinOps and modernisation of Oracle estate.
• Lead the leadership layer across multiple locations and time zones; attract and retain senior engineering talent.
• Ensure security, compliance and governance across platform services; collaborate with product, security and operations.
