Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking an Assistant Project Director to lead the delivery of a multi-million-pound portfolio of enabling and public utilities projects for Universal United Kingdom Resort (UUKR). You will oversee the full lifecycle from planning to closeout, collaborating with consultants, contractors, statutory undertakers, and internal teams to align with strategic goals and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and financial oversight skills, with experience in

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Experience in construction project management and delivery of infrastructure projects.
Experience in project scheduling, estimating, bidding, and negotiations.
Strong knowledge of construction delivery methods for enabling infrastructure and utilities.
Experience coordinating with UK utility statutory undertakers.
Ability to interpret design and construction drawings and technical docs.
Experience managing project finances including budgets and change orders.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of a multi-million-pound portfolio of enabling and public utilities projects for the park.
Oversee full project lifecycle: planning, scope, contracting, construction, commissioning, closeout.
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, statutory undertakers, and stakeholders.
Ensure projects align with budgets, schedules, and development strategies.
Maintain safety, document control, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare capital funding requests and project documentation.
