Job summary

AECOM in London is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to translate client and stakeholder needs into clear business requirements and insights. You will partner with digital and engineering teams across our global organisation to analyse information and drive informed decision-making.

This role demands a data-informed, outcomes-focused mindset, proven ability to define opportunities, lead workshops, and produce documentation such as BRDs and user stories. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

5+ years of Experience as a Business Analyst in digital or technology projects.
Strong ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience writing user stories, requirements, and process flows.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Drive requirement gathering with stakeholders for digital products, aligning with business objectives.
Translate business needs into functional specs and user stories.
Collaborate with product managers, designers and developers across delivery lifecycles.
Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
Contribute to solution design balancing user needs, tech constraints and business goals.
Lead testing, validation and user acceptance activities.
Define and refine user requirements to ensure maximum usability and experience.
Maintain documentation including BRDs, specs and process diagrams.
Facilitate workshops to gather insights and build consensus.
Monitor KPIs to measure impact and guide continuous improvement.
Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across multiple workstreams.
