Job summary

AECOM seeks a Digital Data Analyst to partner with digital and engineering teams worldwide. You will analyse data, craft insights, and present compelling stories that answer client questions and drive engagement.

A data-native mindset and collaboration with operations will help deliver analytics within established timelines. Requirements include 1–2 years in data analytics, a degree in a related field, and experience with Power BI, SQL databases, and GIS outputs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate ability and relevant qualifications in data analytics.
• Work with Operations and Technical leads to deliver project deliverables and analytics within timescales.
• Apply ETL knowledge to data.
• Create basic dashboards in Power BI.
• Produce outputs in GIS.
• Interpret and create metrics from large datasets.
• Set up relational databases (SQL Server, Dataverse).
• Engage with clients and present data in layman's terms.
• 1–2 years of experience in a data analyst role.
• Degree or experience in data analytics, CS, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of dashboarding platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Ability to tell a story from data from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with digital and engineering teams on data analytics projects.
• Develop data visualizations and dashboards to answer client questions.
• Extract, transform and load (ETL) tasks for data pipelines.
• Create basic dashboards in Power BI and GIS visuals.
• Present metrics and insights to clients in accessible terms.
• Ensure data analytics align with company standards.
