Job summary

Virgin Atlantic Airways is seeking a Lead Digital Product Designer to shape a major digital customer journey and advance our design practice with AI. You will work closely with Product, Engineering and Analytics to combine customer insight, creativity and technology, raising design quality across products and platforms.

You will help evolve our design system, embrace responsible, human-centred design, and mentor colleagues while shaping how AI can improve customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading the design of complex digital products or customer journeys.
• Deep expertise in UX, UI, and accessible design with scalable design systems.
• Strong collaboration with product, engineering and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end design of a major digital customer journey from discovery to delivery.
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineers and Analysts to translate needs into experiences.
• Identify where AI can improve experiences while ensuring responsible design.
• Champion accessible, inclusive design and evolve the design system.
• Use research and data to validate ideas and improve digital experiences.
• Coach and support fellow designers to raise design standards.
