THE ROLE

We’re looking for a passionate Senior Digital Marketing Executive to enhance our online presence, support sales, and drive client engagement.

You’ll be responsible for managing and improving the performance of our website and digital channels, with a strong focus on LinkedIn for reaching our B2B audience. This role will involve the development of new website content, landing pages, and gated content for data capture, as well as supporting email campaigns, analysing marketing data, and assisting with client communications. This is a hands-on role that requires a blend of creativity, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

REPORTING TO

THE GOALS:

  • Website Performance & Development:
  • Oversee the development and performance of the Flotilla website, ensuring it remains up to date, user-friendly, and optimised for SEO.
  • Develop and manage landing pages for marketing campaigns, optimising them for lead capture and conversion.
  • Create and manage gated content (eBooks, whitepapers, case studies, reports) to capture leads, working with the sales team to nurture prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Continuously improve website performance through A/B testing, user behaviour analysis, and conversion rate optimisation strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the website accurately represents the brand, products, and services while providing a seamless user experience.

2.Social Media Management (LinkedIn Focus):

  • Working with the Marketing Director, manage and grow Flotilla’s LinkedIn presence, tailoring content to engage with prospects and existing clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute targeted LinkedIn campaigns to increase brand awareness, engage potential clients, and drive lead generation.
  • Regularly post relevant content, including company updates, industry insights, and thought leadership pieces to increase engagement and grow our audience.
  • Engage with followers and respond to inquiries.

3.Email Marketing Campaigns:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to help create and execute targeted email campaigns that nurture leads and support the sales pipeline.
  • Monitor key email metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, providing data-driven insights to optimise future campaigns.

4.Client Communications Support:

  • Assist the client services team with the creation and distribution of digital communications (e.g., newsletters, client updates, and educational content) that informs, educates, and engages current and prospective clients about new features, solutions, and sustainability best practices.
  • Monitor client feedback and develop campaigns to address common questions or concerns while reinforcing the brand’s value proposition.
  • Ensure that all client-facing communications are aligned with Flotilla’s brand voice and messaging.
  • Support in the development of case studies, success stories, and client testimonials that demonstrate the impact of our sustainability solutions.

5.Data Analysis & ROI Tracking:

  • Regularly analyse digital marketing performance across all channels, focusing on website analytics, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insights, HubSpot etc to track campaign performance and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to improve marketing strategies based on data, ensuring a strong return on investment (ROI).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, SEO, content creation, and sustainability marketing.

THE PERSON:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within the tech, sustainability, or B2B sector.
  • Proven ability to manage and optimise website performance, including SEO, user experience, and conversion rate optimisation.
  • Experience creating and managing landing pages, developing new website content, and building gated content for lead capture.
  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, for B2B marketing.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing including segmentation, automation, and campaign analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess digital campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to create engaging, customer-focused content.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for sustainability and an understanding of the opportunities and challenges in this space.
