Job summary

DVSA is seeking a Senior Digital Governance and Assurance Manager to lead governance, risk and controls and to influence senior leaders. The role focuses on digital spend approvals, forums and guidance to ensure informed decision-making across the Agency.

You will champion assurance, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong governance culture and transparent reporting across the DVSA teams and partner government bodies.

Qualifications

• Experience in assurance, governance or compliance to inform decisions.
• Ability to set standards and processes for quality assurance.
• Line management experience in governance or delivery projects.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end digital spend approvals within DVSA and advise on compliance.
• Lead governance lifecycle for digital forums with quality materials and secretariat support.
• Set direction for engagement, delivery and improvement of the service offering.
• Ensure a programme of compliance reviews at key milestones.
• Devise and run training on Digital Governance tools and methods.
• Maintain DVSA Digital Governance guidance and related documentation.
• Demonstrate leadership, influence and integrity in pursuing objectives.
• Promote professional behaviours and safe escalation of concerns.
• Collaborate across functions to support a high-performing Agency.
