Job summary

DVSA is seeking a Senior Digital Governance and Assurance Manager to lead the end-to-end governance and assurance for digital services across the agency. You will work with senior leaders to provide clear, practical guidance on governance, risk and controls, and ensure timely information to decision-makers.

You will own the digital spend approvals process, chair key digital forums, and coach colleagues in governance best practice while upholding integrity and public service standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate of Risk Management, or equivalent.
• PRINCE2 Foundation level or equivalent.
• MSP Foundation or Practitioner level, or willingness to work towards.
• Agile awareness or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end process for digital spend approvals within DVSA, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
• Lead governance lifecycle for key digital forums and chair meetings as required.
• Set direction for engagement and continuous improvement of the service offering.
• Ensure programme of compliance and assurance reviews at key milestones.
• Devise and run training on Digital Governance tools and methodologies.
• Own DVSA Digital Governance guidance and keep documentation up to date.
• Provide influence, direction and guidance to deliver objectives with integrity.
• Encourage professional behaviours and recognise good work.
