Job summary

Tesco Technology in Welwyn Garden City is seeking an experienced Product Analytics and Experimentation specialist to enable data-driven decisions across Groceries, Clubcard, and associated digital products. You will partner with product managers and UX leads to define success metrics and hypotheses.

You will lead end-to-end analytics, combine data from multiple sources, mentor teammates, apply models and external benchmarks, and promote best practices in digital analytics across the business.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in analytics positions within a product or digital context.
• Degree or higher in a quantitative discipline; strong commercial awareness.
• Expert SQL and advanced ETL; familiarity with big data and BI tools.
• Ability to influence without authority and work across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Own relationships with product managers and UX leads, define OKRs and targets.
• Execute end-to-end analysis; gather requirements, define success metrics, and deliver insights.
• Use data from multiple sources to identify trends and opportunities.
• Be the team expert on digital/product analytics and drive best practices.
• Mentor others; develop structured training to upskill the team.
• Apply models and external benchmarks to improve customer experience and outcomes.
• Improve data quality and KPI accuracy; incorporate external data for comparison.
