Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust invites experienced dietitians to join our community nutrition support team in Birmingham. You will manage home enteral feeding and complex oral nutrition support caseloads, visiting patients at home or in care homes and conducting community clinics by telephone or in health centres.

• Some experience of nutrition support.

Responsibilities

• Manage caseload of home enteral feeding and complex oral nutrition support patients in Birmingham.
• Visit patients at home and in care homes; carry out community clinics via telephone or in health centres.
• Provide clinical supervision to Band 4 and 5 staff and support learners/apprentices.
• After induction, work autonomously with regular clinical supervision and service development meetings.
