Hawk Hiring LTD in Winchester is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Specialist. You will conduct advanced electrical fault-finding, interpret CAN bus communications and live data, and lead complex mechanical repairs in a busy workshop.

The role offers total autonomy, on-site training facilities, and a supportive expert-led team with free secure on-site parking. EV/Hybrid certifications are a bonus.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 or IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Proven Senior or Diagnostic Technician with electrical and mechanical skills.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.
• EV/Hybrid certifications are a bonus.

Mansioni

• Conduct advanced electrical fault-finding and CAN bus analysis.
• Interpret live data and diagnose complex faults across petrol, diesel, hybrid and EV systems.
• Perform major mechanical repairs and mentoring of junior technicians.
• Act as the technical go-to for the workshop with autonomy.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: Up to £45,000 basic per annum (reliable, fixed base pay tailored to experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, standard workshop hours (NO WEEKENDS)

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician / Diagnostic Specialist to join our established Winchester workshop team. You will be responsible for conducting advanced electrical fault-finding, interpreting CAN bus communications and live data, handling complex mechanical repairs, and acting as the technical go-to for the workshop.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Proven track record as a Senior or Diagnostic Technician with expert electrical and mechanical skills.
• Independent problem-solving mindset and a collaborative approach to supporting colleagues.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools (EV/Hybrid certifications are a big bonus!).

• Base: Winchester (Free secure on-site parking)
