Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Diagnostic Radiological Physicist to join the Radiological Sciences Unit. The role focuses on acceptance, commissioning and routine QA of x-ray diagnostic equipment, providing specialist radiological physics support across the Trust and SLA customers.

HCPC registered applicants with experience in QA, radiation protection and teaching STP/MSc activities are encouraged; training and support toward Medical Physics Expert status are

Qualifikationen

• HCPC registration required for radiological physicist work.
• Experience in QA (Quality Assurance) and radiation protection/safety.
• Willingness and support to pursue Medical Physics Expert (MPE) status.
• Teaching/training experience for STP and MSc lecturing would be advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Act as Senior Radiological Physicist for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and SLA customers.
• Provide highly complex radiological physics support and technical expertise.
• Act as Medical Physics Expert for designated areas of work.
• Plan and implement integrated information systems for QA data analysis.
• Teach and train staff, updating local policies to ensure safety of patients and staff.
