Job summary

Cloudsmith is seeking a Senior Developer Relations Engineer to champion open source engagement and developer advocacy. You will shape a community-first strategy, produce technical content, and represent Cloudsmith at events.

The role requires strong DevRel and communication skills, plus a passion for empowering developers across ecosystems. The position offers remote work from the UK, Ireland, or the USA, with opportunities to travel for conferences and partner events.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and growing developer communities.
• Experience engaging with open source communities as contributor or maintainer.
• Ability to produce clear, compelling technical content in multiple formats.
• Comfortable being a public face of a company on stage, on camera, and in community spaces.
• Experience supporting partnerships and ecosystem integrations.
• Existing personal audience in the developer/open source space is a plus.
• Knowledge of DevOps and software supply chain concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow Cloudsmith's presence across open source communities.
• Produce technical content including videos, demos, blogs, docs.
• Represent Cloudsmith at conferences and events as a speaker or sponsor.
• Develop programs turning community engagement into awareness and pipeline.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering from community insights.
