Job summary

Xe, a currency services company, is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in the UK to build and transform our technology estate. You will work with Development and Security to deploy products, monitor production, and implement integrations for global teams.

You will drive a modern DevOps culture, enable self-service environments, and deliver zero-downtime deployments across cloud and on‑prem platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience implementing software delivery pipelines.
• Configuration management and IaC. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring systems such as Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Icinga2, APM.
• DevOps toolset including Kubernetes, Github, Artifactory, ElasticSearch, Docker, AWS ECS/EKS.
• Hosting services such as AWS, VMware, etc.
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows servers and networking.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Desirable: experience running large scale web apps and APIs in production.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and run applications in production hosted on AWS, VMware, Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with development and IT Operations to support a continuous delivery model.
• Transform and grow existing platforms and services.
• Create systems to enable a self-service development environment.
• Promote a high performing DevOps culture.
• Deliver zero-downtime deployments and highly available systems.
