Job summary

Candour is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer. The role is remote-first in the UK with occasional days in the Manchester office.

You will support and evolve a large-scale AWS environment, driving Infrastructure as Code, automation and DevOps best practices to enable scalable, resilient platforms. Key responsibilities include managing AWS at scale and delivering cloud infrastructure enhancements to support growth and customer demand.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineering role.
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS environments at scale.
• Expertise with Terraform and IaC.
• Linux administration and Bash/Shell scripting skills.
• Strong Git and CI/CD principles.
• Experience optimising cloud infrastructure for performance, resilience and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance a complex AWS cloud environment to ensure reliability, performance and scalability.
• Design and deliver new cloud solutions and infrastructure enhancements to support growth and demand.
