Job summary

Gemba Advantage designs and runs secure, cloud-native platforms for critical public-sector organisations across the UK. You will shape modern delivery, lead technical decisions, and work with teams who care about doing things properly.

You will design and evolve cloud environments, improve engineering practices, and solve challenging problems alongside our customers. The role requires on-site work up to 4 days per week and active clearance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active or recently active SC or DV clearance (essential).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and production environments.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and Kubernetes/Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver robust automation, platforms, and CI/CD pipelines for complex systems.
• Use Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native tooling to create secure, scalable environments.
• Lead technical reviews, guide engineering decisions, and support fault fixing and maintenance.
• Mentor engineers, improve ways of working, and champion continuous improvement and security.
