Job summary

Gemba Advantage in Manchester is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to secure, scalable software services within a permanent, hybrid environment. You will collaborate with customers and an agile delivery team on modern cloud-native projects and technologies.

Ideal candidates hold active or recently active SC/DV clearance and are comfortable working on-site up to four days per week. Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, Python, or Go with AWS/Docker/Kubernetes is expected.

Qualifications

• Active SC/DV clearance is required or recently active.
• Proficient in at least one modern language: Java, TypeScript, Python, or Go.
• Experience with cloud and container technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proactive, collaborative, and committed to high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of secure, scalable software services.
• Research, prototype, and deliver effective technical solutions with the team.
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve skills.
