Job summary

Rebellion is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our code department. You will own deployment and monitoring of our production cloud infrastructure, design scalable architectures with Pulumi, and lead automation and CI/CD efforts to support our game development workflows.

You will work with a growing team in a riverside Oxford HQ, with relocation support and a creative, collaborative environment that emphasizes reliability, security and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or a similar production-focused role.
• Git and CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Infrastructure as Code experience (Pulumi desirable).
• Monitoring, logging, incident response and production troubleshooting expertise.
• Containerising applications and operating containerised infrastructure (Docker, ECS, Docker Swarm or Kubernetes).
• Cloud security, reliability, scalability and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of deployment, management and monitoring of cloud infrastructure in a LiveOps environment, including on-call rota.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, resilient cloud architectures using Infrastructure as Code, with Pulumi as core technology.
• Lead development and maintenance of cloud automation, testing, CI/CD and containerised infrastructure, coordinating with code/build teams.
• Lead incident management and root cause analysis, implementing improvements to prevent recurring production issues.
