Job summary

Chartered Insurance Institute is seeking a DevOps Engineer to strengthen digital transformation through cohesive DevOps across Dynamics 365, ERP, SQL, and third‑party integrations. You will ensure automated delivery, secure environments, and standardized practices across the digital estate.

We require 5–10 years in DevOps, a strong Azure skill set, and experience with Dynamics 365/ERP integrations. This hybrid role in London offers a 24‑month fixed-term contract with a salary of £64,000–£74,000

Qualifications

5–10 years of DevOps engineering or related delivery in complex multi-system environments.
Hands-on software development background with C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript and APIs.
Experience modernising legacy systems, cloud adoption and platform consolidation.
Extensive Azure and Azure DevOps experience with ALM, CI/CD and governance.
Practical knowledge of Dynamics 365, ERP/CRM integrations, and data platforms.
Strong security, compliance and observability capabilities in cloud ecosystems.
Experience operating within Agile DSDM or Scrum frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead automated build and release pipelines for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
Design and maintain Dynamics 365, ERP, SQL integrations using Azure Integration Services.
Administer Azure DevOps repositories, pipelines, service connections, and governance.
Automate cloud provisioning with ARM/Bicep/Terraform and ensure secure configs.
Implement enterprise monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights.
Embed RBAC, policy enforcement and automated compliance checks across the estate.
Develop reusable components and documentation to raise platform maturity.
Identify automation opportunities to improve velocity, resilience, and sustainability.
