Job summary

Quantum Motion is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and run scalable cloud infrastructure in our London-based Cloud Engineering team. You will build IaC, automate deployments, and drive reliability, performance, and cost optimization across hybrid environments.

The role requires expert Linux, Python/Bash scripting, and Terraform/CloudFormation experience, with a strong focus on collaboration with software engineers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Production-grade, scalable AWS workloads deployed and maintained.
• Terraform (preferred) and CloudFormation expertise.
• Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) expert with troubleshooting.
• Python or Bash for automation.
• IAM/AD LDAP integration for hybrid environments.
• Ability to translate infra scaling decisions for dev teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage IaC for scalable cloud workloads.
• Collaborate with software engineering to optimize performance and cost.
• Monitor, automate and improve CI/CD pipelines for deployment workflows.
• Lead reliability improvements and incident response in a cloud-first environment.
