Job summary

Rebellion is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our code department at the Oxford riverside HQ. You will own and evolve our production cloud infrastructure, drive automation and CI/CD, and collaborate closely with engineers to ensure reliability, scalability and security across LiveOps workloads.

You’ll lead scalable cloud architectures, containerised infrastructure, and incident response while mentoring peers.

Qualifications

• Strong DevOps/SRE experience in production environments.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi desirable).
• Experience with monitoring, logging and incident response.
• Experience containerising apps and running containerised infra (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
• Understanding cloud security, reliability and scalability best practices.
• Experience with PlayFab and in liveOps environments.
• Experience mentoring engineers or technical leadership in a DevOps/Platform team.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment, management and monitoring of cloud infrastructure in LiveOps.Design scalable, secure cloud architectures using Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi).Lead development and maintenance of cloud automation, testing, CI/CD and containerised infrastructure.Lead incident management and root-cause analysis and implement improvements.
