Job summary

Smartedge It Solution PVT LTD in the United Kingdom, Scotland, City of Edinburgh, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement and operate cloud infrastructure, automation tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and platform services for our External Marketplace platform and API ecosystem.

You will collaborate with engineering, security and product stakeholders to establish infrastructure standards, drive automation, and improve resilience, enabling fast and safe software delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Hands-on with large-scale production environments in enterprise settings.
• Strong expertise in GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and automation tooling (GCP-focused).
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions and reusable modules.
• Build self-service platform capabilities for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
• Lead governance, automation frameworks, and security practices across environments.
• Drive incident management, observability, and reliability improvements.
