Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate cloud infrastructure and CI/CD tooling for our External Marketplace platform. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, security specialists, and product stakeholders to build reliable, secure cloud-native solutions in a hybrid Edinburgh setting.

You will lead automation initiatives, establish infrastructure standards, and drive operational resilience in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience operating highly available production systems at enterprise scale
• Strong hands-on with Terraform, IaC, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with API gateway and API security best practices

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure (GCP)
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions
• Build self-service platform capabilities for engineering teams
• Implement governance and automation across environments
• Drive automation and improve deployment reliability
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices
