Job summary

Tempest Vane Partners in London is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. The role focuses on CI/CD, Kubernetes, automation and platform reliability across cloud and on‑prem environments, enabling engineers, researchers and investment teams to build and run software at scale.

You will work hands‑on with software engineers to automate the SDLC, strengthen production reliability and build scalable infrastructure, with on‑call responsibilities and collaboration

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering.
• Deep CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or Octopus Deploy.
• Strong Kubernetes and containerisation experience.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience, ideally Terraform.
• Experience with high-throughput, distributed systems.
• Observability and production reliability expertise.
• Experience building or supporting REST APIs.
• Comfortable across AWS and on-premise environments.
• Genuine software-engineering mindset.

Tempest Vane Partners have partnered with one of the world's leading multi-strategy hedge funds, known to be at the forefront of technology and innovation. They are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Platform Engineering team in London.

The team builds the infrastructure that enables engineers, researchers and investment teams to develop, deploy and run software at significant scale.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on CI/CD, Kubernetes, automation and platform reliability, working across both cloud and on-premise environments.

The Role

You’ll help build and evolve the platforms behind millions of software builds and production workloads, improving the speed, resilience and autonomy of engineering teams.

You'll work closely with software engineers to automate the SDLC, strengthen production reliability and build scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
