Job summary

XYZ Reality Ltd. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and scale the cloud and platform infrastructure powering its BIM Platform. You’ll work across Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability and security while enabling developers with self-service tooling.

Based in London with a hybrid setup, you will partner with Engineering, Data and Security to improve deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting, taking ownership of infrastructure improvements and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience across modern stacks.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Deep Kubernetes knowledge including design, networking and upgrades.
• IaC experience using Terraform/ARM/Helm equivalents.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions.
• Strong container expertise with Docker.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging and observability in prod.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security practices and audit logging.
• Scripting in Python/Go/Bash/TypeScript for automation.
• Proven ability to own production infrastructure and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Architect, maintain and evolve Azure infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
• Build and maintain IaC using Terraform, ARM templates and Helm.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Build observability across infrastructure and services.
• Improve reliability, scalability and performance through capacity planning.
• Develop disaster recovery, backup and failover strategies.
• Strengthen security across network policies, secrets and hardening.
• Establish incident response, on-call practices and runbooks.
• Support PostgreSQL and MongoDB environments with Data team.
• Create self-service tooling, templates and docs for engineers.
