Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join a major UK digital transformation programme. You will operate within a Software Engineering team, building and refining development tooling, infrastructure and CI/CD processes in an AWS serverless environment.

The role combines DevOps expertise with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway, requiring senior/SME level collaboration across multiple teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience across AWS, CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Proficient in configuration and release management.
• Proficient in infrastructure and deployment automation.
• Experience in modern software engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain development tools and cloud infrastructure.
• Design, build and improve end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Support AWS serverless applications using services such as Lambda, DynamoDB and API Gateway.
• Automate development, deployment and infrastructure processes.
• Work closely with software engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Improve the scalability, reliability and security of development and deployment processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows through automation.
• Monitor platform performance and proactively address potential issues.
• Act as a DevOps SME and contribute to key technical and architectural decisions.
