Job summary

RX Global is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate and operate RX Cloud Platforms across AWS and Azure from our London base. You will work closely with software teams to boost platform reliability, observability and release automation.

The role emphasizes automation-first mindset, incident management, and leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve operational efficiency while ensuring security and cost-conscious cloud practices.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and operating cloud platforms.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code and automation.
• Strong collaboration with software teams to improve delivery.
• Experience with AWS and Azure and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC.
• Support AWS services including EKS, EC2, ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, ALB, VPC, IAM, Systems Manager and CloudWatch.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and infrastructure patterns.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related tooling.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and release automation.
• Implement cloud security best practices and support remediation activities.
• Maintain monitoring, logging and alerting solutions, participate in incident management and root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
• Automate repetitive operational activities and leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve troubleshooting, documentation, operational efficiency and platform reliability.
