Job summary

RELX Group seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer within GTECH Cloud Engineering to design, automate, secure, and operate RX Cloud Platforms across AWS and Azure. Based in Richmond, London, you will partner with software teams to improve cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, observability and platform reliability.

You will design and maintain AWS infrastructure, develop Terraform modules, and build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, while enforcing security and incident management practices to

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Terraform/Infrastructure as Code experience.
• CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions or similar.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration with software teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using IaC principles.
• Support AWS services including EKS, EC2, ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route53, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules and patterns.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment and release automation.
• Implement cloud security best practices and support remediation activities.
• Maintain monitoring and logging, participate in incident management and RCA, drive improvements.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and leverage AI-assisted tools for reliability.
