Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in London, hybrid role. You will own CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure, enabling rapid and reliable software delivery. The role involves mentoring, security compliance, and collaborating with development teams to integrate AI-assisted automation.

The successful candidate will have strong scripting, experience with AWS, and a track record in financial services environments, with a hands-on, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in financial services environments is preferred.
• Strong Linux/Unix background and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and lead CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Ansible, Terraform).
• Develop and maintain containerised apps (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS).
• Monitor, optimise performance and reliability (DataDog).
• Ensure security and compliance through standard processes and audits.
• Collaborate with development teams for seamless deployments.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement.
• Evaluate AI-assisted tooling to enhance DevOps workflows.
